| #1DisposableheroSep 10, 2014 17:35:58 | My friends and I are going to be starting our first fifth edition game, and I was looking for opinions on class balance this go around. I was considering building a fighter, but felt in previous editions that fighters and melee in general tended to be underpowered later in the game. How do they compare this time around? I know they get access to the Eldrich Knight archetype, perhaps to balance this.
What type of fighters tend to shine the most? Any and all advice would be appreciated. |

The fighter does have the potential to make a lot of attacks, but without a desent archetype it's really one note. Move, Hit - Move, Hit - Move, Hit. |
