| #1NoonAug 09, 2014 18:55:01 | See, I missed the 'if your target can't see you you get advantage' bit in the game text, so I'm wondering if I've missed anything.
Is there flanking or five foot step in 5e?
As far as I know, no. Rogues just need an ally pestering your target and you only have disengage action to get out without attacks of opportunity.
Just had a DM include both those things - I said I didn't think they are in there, but left it at that otherwise it holds up things. AND I might be wrong? Is there flanking or five foot steps and I've missed it? |

| #3UndrhilAug 09, 2014 22:57:18 | It may be a houserule your DM was using, but then, you guys as players should be able to take advantage of it as well. And it won't fly at an Adventure League table.
Oh there are going to be so many people complaining about "rules lawyers" from the Adventure League tables at conventions.... |

| #7AlpizaraiAug 11, 2014 3:20:14 | Nope, I don't have the link--I believe it was a developer's statement in a tweet, can't remenber where I got it, but this is what it had (to appeal your curiosity somehow): DMG table of contents leaked: highlights: optional rules: |
| #8NoonAug 11, 2014 17:04:22 | Don't think that qualifies as an answer if it's optional material. |
