5e Character Sheet (Hi Res, Fillable) (Azzy).pdf

DD5_blank_sheet_fillable_pg2_0 (Lawrence Hoy).pdf

Two sheets, that were made by the community pending the official ones being released.

The first corresponds to P1 of the Starter Set pregens and the second is a continuation sheet.

The larger text blocks support rich-text. You can paste formatted text from a word processor, or just right-click in a rich text field and select the Hyperlink option. You will get Font and Paragraph format tabs. Ignore the Link tab.

I noticed this on the official site. They include one with the inspiration box.

I've not been able to save any sheets after I've added data.

I just have the regular Adobe Reader, but I know there is a way to make it work because some other player made sheets have been savable to the local computer. It looks like I have the same problem with the official sheets as well. When I go to save it only lets me save a blank form or print.

It looks like it depends on how you save the sheet when it's created. If it's saved a certain way then someone with just Acrobat Reader can edit the fields and save it.

I saved the pdf as per the instructions in the adobe link. Hope it works for you.

I chose not to use rich text because it prohibits the auto sizing of the fonts and if the text field is smaller then the smallest font size then it cuts off the character in the field and adds a + sign next to it.

The main problem with official character sheets is weapons.  They often seem to allow only three slots on official sheets.  I challenge them to find a group where every member of the group uses three weapons or less.

Is anyone working on a version of the new official sheets by adding RTF support that includes all three pages?

Is anybody who created sheets for the playtest going to update them?  I'm not 100% sold on the official one.

I have used a few character sheets from this thread. I can now save the character sheet, but cannot edit and make changes. Can anyone sort this problem out?

This one is quite fun.  It prints out fine as a little booklet, although sell section is not formfillable yet:

I updated my 1 page character sheet to version 2 in order to reflect some of the new fields from the PHB peaks and I tweaked the format a little.

@WastingX

The added complexity of your newer one-page character sheet (v2) doesn't do much for me, but the first (smaller) one seems straightforward and easy to use.  Don't abandon it, you can easily add Background and fix Inspiration.  It's an opportunity to approach the background feature differently, too.  For me, conceptually, that fits more naturally with the proficiencies & skills.  It would be nice if the formatting of both versions made it easier to handwrite a few spells, equipment and a little bit of ammo during the game.

I've created an xls version and posted to Enworld http://www.enworld.org/forum/rpgdownloads.php?do=download&downloadid=1080

I didn't make it look like the "official" sheets but it does basic calculations for you.

Updated 1 pg, tweaked the layout a little and added a 2nd optional page to handle overflow.

     http://www.enworld.org/forum/rpgdownloads.php?do=download&downloadid=1001

Are you using the Melee and Range boxes? or are they redundant to the weapon section?

Let me know what works and what doesn't

I'm glad people are liking the work. Thank you.

Updated my 1pg to v4

Created a 2pg (Basically the v4 1pg with all the spell stuff on the second page)

Updated my 1pg to v5

Unless there are some glaring issues I will probably sit on this version for a while before I make any new changes.
Updated layout to flow better during game play
Cleaned up columns for Feats-Feature-Traits
Tweaked spell columns to expand the notes column a little

For what ever reason after I enter my text and click to another field on the black back sheet, it sets my paragraphs to double spaced.  How can I fix this?  I'm using acrobat reader free XI on windows 8.1
