So kind of an interesting way to build a '4e' Warlord.
Wolf Barbarian 3/Battlemaster Fighter 3/Bard 5

You rage, you grant a friend advantage with melee, you've granted them inspiration, and you then grant them a free attack.

"Hey, Rogue, have a free attack with Advantage, do +1d8 damage, and have a floating +1d6 to hit whenever you think you might miss. Enjoy!"

The major issue is figuring out how to get Extra Attack in there reasonably fast - Barbarian 5, Fighter 5 or 11, or be a Valor Bard 6.

Valor bard lets you give the nice damage boost, but unless you really want spells bard 5lets should be the max when you get back inspiration on short rest.

There's also the issue needing enough rages to get through the day with barb. Fighter 11/bard 6/barb 3 makes barb of questionable value...

The advantage bonus is nice, but maybe unnecessary. I think I like Fighter 14 / Bard 6 most here. This could allow you to be ranged instead of melee as well.

That said, the build in OP should also totally take the Gaurdian fighting style as well. If you're going to be standing next to a friend, watch his back as well!
