Hey all! This'll be my first post on here actually and I'm glad to be here. I hope I don't ever become too much of a hassle, haaha. Well the first thing on my list of questions to bother all you veterans with is regarding the 4e Paladin power Bless Weapon. The power states that until the end of the encounter this weapon grants criticals on a roll between 18 and 20 (which sounds lovely to me) if the opponent in question is vulnerable to radiant damage.

"Choose one weapon you are wielding. Until the end of the encounter, you gain a +1 power bonus to attack rolls with that weapon, and it deals 1d6 extra radiant damage on a hit. In addition, you can score a critical hit with the weapon on a roll of 18-20 against creatures vulnerable to radiant damage."

Is there a way that I, as a Paladin, could utilize that to its fullest by consistently placing weakness to radiant damage on my enemies? Unfortunately the option of heading down the Amaunator paragon path is out the window as the campaign is an evil one with all party members being divine classes following Asmodeus. That said, we have an Avenger, a Cleric and an Invoker. Would they be able to consistently deal this effect on enemies were I to speak with them and plan it out? Further still, as an entire team that consistently uses the Radiant keyword (for those curious, we describe radiant moves with our own flavor text regarding it as an astral black mist as opposed to simply using necrotic) we could all benefit from this information; if it's there to be gathered, that is.

Any assistance is much appreciated. Thank you!

Hey dude,

You'll find better answers in one of the 4e forums. This forum is dedicated to 5th edition rules, so it's unlikely to have much in the way of advice for you. Just head back to the root Dungeons and Dragons forum, and find an appropriate 4th edition forum, and repost your topic there. You're bound to grab some attention.
