| #2Jay_Ibero_911Sep 18, 2014 15:40:12 | The restarin option of the grappler feat does take your entire action, which is one of the reasons it is inferior to just shoving the grappled targer prone. |

| #5FluffyBunbunKittensSep 19, 2014 2:52:38 | It's still a better option than a two-turn restrain which will never come into play, because two turns. :p |

So at no point is Prone actually a disadvantage. |
| #81eejitSep 19, 2014 5:10:59 | It's funny, you seem to think that Prone prevents spellcasting or using other AoE abilities, or that it prevent attacks on your (now in melee range) squishies rather than simply giving disadvantage.
Even ignoring that, Restrained gives your Ranged attackers advantage wherever they are. Prone means they have no way of getting advantage, at best they can avoid disadvantage.
Keep grasping at straws. |

| #10KeendkSep 19, 2014 5:15:05 | Save spells won't have disadvantage against prone targets, why don't your squishy ranged characters just use that? If they know they have a tripper in the party they should make sure to take such options. |
