It's pathfinder, and I hope this is an acceptable place to put this question, but I mean, come on.   Pathfinder is just D&D 3.75.

We are starting next week, next sunday actually, so at the time of this going up, I have 7 days. A little less maybe, as I'm writting this at 8:14pm sunday night, but you know, whatever.

We're starting off at 8th level, and we have 30,000 gp to work with for gear, and it will be an all EVIL character game.  There are almost no restrictions on character builds.  I was told to use any race and any class.  Hell, the DM even said I can make a race on my own, and I'm sure monster races are open.  I was thinking of a minotuar barbarian, but I just came from a game where I last played a barbarian, so that's a no go.

So far the group has

-a Summoner, most liekly a Halfling who summons a giant beat stick

-a fighter, probably a normal fighter, it's the DM's character

-a Cleric who is a necromancer

-the possibility of a Rogue, this player's character died in session 0....this is what I'm dealing with.

-and a Blood Rager- a Sorcerer/Barbarian (like how the magus is wizard/fighter, so a close combat barbarian with a bit of magic) hybrid class, most liekly a Dwarf.

I was going to make a wizard or cleric necromancer, but that seats taken, and I was going to make a rogue archer, but that was for a specific build for a heroic character for 5e, I don't know if I want to make it an evil character, and I'm sure he'd be outclassed by everything else going on (I also don't know how to translate the build from 5e to pathfinder)

The summoner is going to be stupid OP.  I've seen it played before, and if its the same build that the player always makes, then I don't need to make a melee character.  The Bloodrager and summoner should take care of that.  The summoner also does his own spellcasting, lightning sand traps and what not, so I don't know how I'm going to compare if I make a caster.

EDIT:  Oh, and I have not even rolled stats yet... That's another thing.  26d6 pool, with a minimum of 3d6 for each stat...The DM is totes shooting for high numbers.

SUGGESTIONS!  give me all of them?

1) you are in the 5E forum

2) Pathfinder mechanics are very close to 3.5, but still a different game, with different character options.

3) Pathfinder is a product from a *competing* company to the one paying for this website.

4) There are about 3.14 bajillion possible character combinations.... you need to narrow it down a lot more than 'pick something' (when you do find the right website)
