So I think I may try to make a couple threads based on my friends and my experience.  Maybe I can help some people or maybe they can help me.  First off let me warn you there are some spoilers but no two dugeon matsers are alike.

LongRod (Me, rogue), Frostbeard (Cleric), Natsu (wizard), Stoneshield(Fighter), and DM

After the first night of play we are really enjoying the game.  Our Adventurers just made Past a goblin ambush and are pushing thier way to the Cragmaw cave I search of their employers.  After the Ambush Frostbeard was injuried while everyone else managed to stay at full health.  Natzu captured one of the goblins and tried to negotiate to find their cave and figure out what had become of the employers.  After the goblin exposed the whereabouts of the cave Natzu finished the goblin without consulting the rest of the team.  A disappointed and confused team looked past his reckless handling of the situation as soon Stonesheild and Frostbeard were injuried by traps along the path.

Views on the first night: there is alot to learn and honestly I think not one of us has a problem with that.  Honestly we all had way more fun than was initially expected.  We are set for fridays and sundays to play and have a facebook group for our players and future players up and running.  Also I have 5 spotify playlist for certain situations that we have and may come across in the game.  Stoneshield and I have been hard at work researching and trying to find ways to best use our characters.  Let me know what combinations you guys like to use at lower levels.

Our dungeon master is hard at work trying to make our lives nightmares.  As for the other two I cant truely say but I would expect at least Frostbeard to be doing his research.

Couple questions I have for you guys:

First what is some equipment that you guys never thought you would use but then it came in handy or you wish you had it?

For Rogues how do you guys use your trap detection?

How did you guys do when put up against the first round of goblins?

Does your dungeon master take pleasure in your pain?

Do you guys have any playlist you use for the game to spice it up?

What tips do you have for me or anyone else that may stumble accross this feed?
