Yes, it ends.   3. Do I really start with 2 healing surges?  No constitution modifier? No. Only two. Feats that gives you bonus healing surges work though.   4. Can my Cleric teammate heal my vampire character? Yes. The vampire class also sucks bot literally and metaphorically. Unless the game is with very low level of optimization - then it is ok, since you can't build it better, but you also can't build it worse than what it is. This is also the 5th edition forum, not the 4th edition one.
