You can choose to know the spells from the War Cleric Domain, which includes some good spells like shield of faith, and spiritual sword, as well as your standard Sorc spells, like shield and fireball. It still uses CHA as it's main stat, but has access to some rather nice combat spells. |

| #4KangodoJul 22, 2015 6:19:09 | Swashbuckling is about awesome duels and fights. You don't have to play a rogue to be a Swashbuckler, it's just that they named it like that.
A light-magic Swashbuckler could be an Eldritch Fighter, you simply take a rapier and buff yourself with magic. A heavier-magic swashbuckler works with an hexblade warlock, the idea is that you cast Hex and use dual-wielding short swords since Hex triggers from the Bonus Attack. |

For flavor, going Bard to pick up some controlling spells isn't bad. Warlock can do that too, especially with Command. "You there! Go away. This is between he and I..." |
| #6Ghost_GallusJul 22, 2015 20:06:31 | Valor Bard or War Favored Soul is the way to go. Valor Bard will give a bit more Dread Pirate Roberts feel to it, IMHO, if thats the kinda of thing your going for. |
