I think you should mainly just talk with your fellow players and make sure they understand you won't be spending every round of combat healing, because you're also well-suited to preventing damage through area of effect fire blasts.
Try to coordinate your firey blasts with those of the party wizard and arrows from the party ranger. Combined AoEs should be really good at taking out lower-hp threats, and preventing damage by clearing the battlefield is a kind of healing all its own.
Look for ways to heal while still taking other actions, like burning face. Spells like Aura of Vitality for instance.
If you are playing with feats look at Elemental Adept - Fire. |

why not play what you want and take a human with the feat Healer
tell your guys that they need to heal themselves INFIGHT or retreat from damage sources self |
| #5chocbywdrAug 27, 2014 9:32:55 | I am choosing to play the healer role beecause I would like the party to succeed and most of the other players joined the game before me. I know a couple of fighters, a warlock, a wizard and a paladin are not going to get very far in this game. |

As long as you have some healing tucked away for when they drop to 0 and can't heal themselves, it shouldn't be a disaster. Plus if you can take down the baddies that much faster, it's that much less healing that needs to be done. Fighters and paladins will actually get farther than most classes, since they're fairly self-sustaining. And it looks like you also have a very hearty front line (including the cleric?), so the squishies aren't in great peril. I wouldn't sweat the heal-monkey role. Just say "I'm not that kind of cleric, boys" as you charge up your eye beams. |

Ask one of the other players if they would mind multiclassing into Cleric for a level dip or two. If they say No, they forfeit their right to suggest to you how you play your character. |
