| #1supreme_slayerJan 09, 2015 1:18:25 | So, right off the bat, I'll say that I know it's not the best multiclass, even though they do both handle Wisdom. I also know that this character being a Dwarf doesn't help too much, either. However, I started with the character concept, so I have to run with it.
Basically, I want to multiclass from Monk into Cleric for my dwarf character, and I was looking to take the most painless route possible. I had already planned on going for Way of the Open Palm for his monk path, as he is supposed to be a drunken master of sorts. I was also thinking that the domain of trickery would be the best route for him, since it fits with the whole bobbing and weaving and deception of the drunken boxing style.
My current character stats are: STR 10, DEX 14, CON 16, INT 10, WIS 16, CHA 8
I already have two levels in Monk. What would be suggested for the next few levels? Stick with monk until level 5 so I can get stunning fist and an extra attack first, or would the spells be worth it before then? I plan on only playing this caracter until roughly level 12. Feats that I should take, etc? |

Light can be pretty good, that warding flare is a nice use of reaction. Tempest and Light can also be nice at higher levels as stunning strike will cause a target to automatically fail a Dex save from the appropriate damage spells if you cast one on your next turn. |
