Double Weapons follow the following rules: ● When attacking, treat the Double Weapon as the two component weapons, one wielded in each hand. ● A Double Weapon counts as wielding a light weapon in each hand.
● An enchantment applied to a Double Weapon applies to the component weapons.
Other than gaining the Heavy property, which makes thematic sense, pretty sure it's balanced. Thoughts? |

A double-sword (two short swords) isn't any bigger than a staff or spear (potentially even smaller). As Small creatures can use a staff or spear normally, why would a weapon that's as big or smaller... and made up of two weapons they can dual weild without any problems, be classified out of their use? |

I mean yeah, it might not be longer than a spear, but it's probably going to be weightier. |

They would definitely have to pick up the two-handed property. No modifier damage on the bonus action attack without the two weapon fighting style? Would you need to pick up the Weapon Master feat to become proficient? |
