#1 Nugs2073 Jun 17, 2015 9:35:29	Hi i am a newish player and I have An idea for a character. I was going to make a genasi character because they sound really cool. Now I have decided to go with monk class because that seems cool and fun. Now I am not sure if the backstory is good and I need help coming up with a charater goal and maybe one more flaw. He is a Fire Genasi Monk   Backstory Life -Given to a Monestary of ilmater in the swamps of Calimshan as a baby -Trained by mentor/father figure Trenzog Swiftstrider -Captured and sold into slavery at Calimport after a raid on the Monestary -Fought in one of the grand arenas -Was very sucessful and brought his master much fame and wealth -Lived a lavish life  -after seeing the conditions of the lower class slaves he made a plan -Rebeled against master and began to free slaves -killed master and escaped the city -Now is looking for some work and wants to see some of the world Relationships -Mother and Father unkown -Location of the other monks of ilmater unknown -Worshiper of ilmater -Befriended some of the slaves   Personality: - I am always trying to Improve myself In anyway possible -Bold and fierce -Can be abrasive   Idea:Equality-We all bleed, we all suffer together   Bond: -All I have left of my former life is this trinket -Protects Slaves and the common folk   Flaws:-there are a group of people who want me dead for what they see as very good reasons

Money and manners won’t save you   Ideals: -Honor: if I dishonor myself, I dishonor the memory of my Clan   Bonds: -I am the last of my tribe, and it is up to me to ensure their names enter legend.   Flaw: -here’s no room for caution in a life -I can’t let go of the past, sometimes I lose sleep thinking about old times
