Inspiration (date of expiration?)

Is there a definitive amount of time that I can hold on to my Inspiration reward from the DM?

As far as I can tell, there is no expiration on inspiration.

 

That being said, as a DM, I will probably have it disappear after a long rest to encourage my players to use it!
