#1 daspian Aug 16, 2015 20:57:39	so i was just wondering exactly what does this ability do as it is quite vague in some regards... Inured to Undeath "Beginning at 10th level, you have resistance to necrotic damage, and your hit point maximum can't be reduced. You have spent so much time dealing with undead and the forces that animate them that you have become inured to some of their worst effects."   in my understanding this makes you immune to things such as a ghoul's paralyzing touch, or a vampire's charm, or a Mummy's Dreadful Glare or Mummy Rot ability, but i am wondering as to what others gather from this effect, because the way it is written makes it vague and well that can either mean it is extremely underpowered or it could be a really nice ability.

The "some of their worst effects" are dealing necrotic damage and attacks that reduce your hit point maximum. Any other effect, like the ones you list, aren't effected.
#3 AaronOfBarbaria Aug 17, 2015 9:24:32	As Danny points out, the first sentence lists the mechanical effects of the feature. The second sentence merely offers an explanation of why you get those benefits mentioned in the first sentence.

#5 Coolossus2123 Aug 18, 2015 4:49:34	I apologize if this seems obivious, but the "hit point maximum can't be reduced" part means there is nothing undead can do to reduce it, even if it's not related to necrotic damage?
