Is it worth dipping into Warlock if going full support Bard?

If I'm running a full support-style lore Bard, is it worth dipping two levels into Warlock for Eldritch Blast and invocations? Or is it better to just ignore multi-classing and get all of my Bard skills sooner?

It's a pretty straight trade.  Less support, more damage.  So it depends on your party.

If you want to go full support, stick with striaght lore bard.

full support what is better for you:

higher damage and pushing the ennemy further back (with Eldritch Blastand both evocation)

or lower damage but giving disavantage on an attack from your target (vicious mockery)? since it's pretty unlikely that you'll be able to cast both spell at the same time (and will be force to choose one OR the other)

If you say that you'll use Vicious mokery 90% of the time and push target back with eldritch blast is it worth to loose 2 level of bard for 10% of your attacks?

Remember Warlock DO NOT give you spellcaster level, so you'll be stuck as a caster level 18 and you'll NEVER get your second spell level 6 and 7.

Tomelock 3 is also an option for a support Bard if the short-term benefits of additional cantrips and rituals are worth more than the loss of Bard 18. Depending on how long the campaign expects to last, it could be worth the dip.

Thanks for the input, guys.

It seems like I will have to discuss with my party what paths they all plan on taking to truly decide what the best course of action is.
