#1 Incendavis Feb 05, 2015 14:24:46	Hey for you guys that know him can you help me come up with a build for him? I am thinking Warlock and Wizard but I don't know how many levels of which. Maybe Sorc or Fighter as well?
#2 ppaladin123 Feb 05, 2015 15:57:47	It depends on what he can do. It has been a long time since I played Burning Crusade...can you remind us what his abilities were? He eventually makes a pact with the equivalent of an archdemon so warlock makes sense in terms of flavor but that doesn't mean it works in terms of mechanics.

#5 jaappleton Feb 05, 2015 17:29:18	Lore wise, he got his power from the Sunwell. When it was destroyed, magic still lingered with him, though he did have to find another power source soon.    So Warlock is definitely a part of it. Warlock/Sorcerer multiclass is absolutely possible.

Going purely by class, by how Kael got his powers, it's Warlock/Sorc. By the spells that Karl had, it's tough... Adding Bard to the mix to gain access to the spells isn't a bad idea. However, the actual features picked up along the way don't really fit with Kael. I'd almost go pure Warlock. I know you gain a LOT by adding Sorc to the Warlock, but if I wanted to stay 100% true to the character, I'd be inclined for full Warlock.
#10 NotArthas Feb 10, 2015 11:08:11	Actualy Kael DOES use a weapon. He used a fire enchanted sword to fight pre-Lichking Arthas at the throat of the world. It is in the novel. The wikki even puts him down as a Wizzard/Fighter http://www.wowwiki.com/Kael%27thas_Sunstrider Kael would be a Bladelock or the arcane warrior subclass, I would lean more towards Bladelock though because he has more emphasis on magic over melee and with the packs he is constantly trading a mentor/master for something stronger that can give him more power and protect his people.
