Level progression for Archer build

Yeah, I realize this isn't that big of a deal, but its the small stuff I get hung up on, so I thought I would ask.

Playing a Longbow Human archer with SharpShooter, working towards Rogue5/Ranger5.... then not sure, but may never get past that anyway.

Currently at Rogue2Ranger2. I have a +1 Bow and Cloak of elvenkind (to help with Assassinations...)

My plan was to go to Ranger5/Rogue2 next. Pick up Horder Breaker, +2 Dex, and Extra Attack.  But now I am second guessing myself.

Could go Rogue5/Ranger2 and pick up Assassinate, +2 Dex, and Uncanny Dodge, along with 2d6 SA dice.

OR....

Could grab one more level of Rogue, then go to Rogue3/Ranger5.  Picking up Assassinate and 1D6 before grabbing the Ranger goodies.

But that delays the 18 dex and Extra attack another level...

Playing AL so I could even redo the first 4 levels (Rogue1/Ranger4, or Rogue5/Ranger0, etc)....but the benefits from Rogue2/Ranger2 seem pretty good.

Suggestions? Insights?

If you find you can reasonably get surprise (pretty DM dependant), i would pick up rogue 3 next.

Otherwise...

multi-attack > horde breaker > +2 Dex > uncanny dodge (since your likely not taking many shots).

i.e. ranger 5.

Not to mention the spells, which offsets any sneak attack gain.
