Hello everyone, I recently started reading more about DnD and am kind of interested in playing it.

 

I'd like some tips/ advice from veterans of the game pretty much how to get started etiquette that goes along with the game cost etc etc

First bit of advice is to find a group to play with, or, if you just have friends you'd like to play with: pick up a copy of each of the following books. The Player's Handbook, the Dungeonmaster's Guide, and the Monster Manual. From there, it's all simple: Read. Read a lot. Read until the rules make sense and the people at the table around you can interpret the rules and how to use them.
