| #1IncendavisJan 31, 2015 10:04:45 | Right now both my party and DM think its kinda stupid (any very annoying) that half the races in the game have Darkvision. Right now we have 1 guy in the group with darkvision. 1. So how could we houserule Lowlight vision? What races would have that over dark?
I can see only Drow, Dwarves and Svirneblin having Darkvision but thoughts? Thanks in advance for the help! |

It's effects basicaly are what low-light vision always should have been, since the old "see twice as far in dim light" thing really didn't ever actually apply in a quantifiable way. |

In older editions they had multiple visions and or was very tedious ranging from infra vision, low light and normal vision. Everyone but humans either had low light and infra vision. All with varying ranges per each, this is to stream line this a little more. |

Would it be better to have Lowlight, and Infravision or just keep darkvision? Because I love the concept of infravision but.... Its not in the edition |
| #5supreme_slayerJan 31, 2015 18:55:56 | Infravision i feel creates too many problems. First against the user ia that a large source of heat blocks out all vision. For the user, it is extremely hard to hide your heat. No hiding inside things, ot peeking stealthily without showing up as a huge heat blob. |
