3 level dip for darkness and devil's sight. Attack with constant advantage, except for the fights that really matter :D.

also because warlocks are cooler.

Monk warlock will be tough. You need Dex, Wisdom and Cha, so you're pretty MAD. You'll need to, at best, pick two.
