Along with the favored soul sorcerer in a previous UA article it looks like the new sorcerer options are going to come with extra spells...so I kind of wonder if the dragon and wild sorcerer are getting shafted. ON the other hand, the features here are not particularly good. |

I am glad to see the Storm Sorcerer again. The extra spells seem appropriate for the Element of Air and Knowledge. I am tempted to attempt to stat up or convert a certain Sorceress from the Forgotten Realms, a Witch Queen who has six sisters ( obviously levels 1 through to 20).
I would imagine at some point we may see an Unearthed Arcana or a Dragon book, which would also feature unique spells available to Draconic Sorcerers. Wild Magic could possibly be an Unearthed Arcana as well.

| (Reply to #5)mictrepanier | I like your work.
Did you check Quickleaf work at http://www.enworld.org/forum/showthread.php?394575-Swashbuckler-and-Ship-Mage-%28new-archetypes%29/page4&p=6609562#post6609562 and mine at http://www.enworld.org/forum/showthread.php?398319-Modified-Swashbuckler-Archetype-%283-musketeers-genre%29 ? |
| #7CatodonMay 06, 2015 5:56:39 | HermantheWize I have the Monster Manual minotaurs as PCs from my project. Note though the old fashioned level Adjustment (LA). Minotaur ** ½ Large monstrosity, the first Extra Attack from a class is swapped for a 1d8 hit die and associate increase in maximum hit points. Languages: Abysal, Common. LA4, JL5. Str +4{3-20}, Dex+0{3-20}, Con +3 {3-20}, Int-2{2-12} Wis +3{3-20}, Cha-1{3-18}. Traits: Darkvision 60ft, Labyrinthine Recall (MM223). Speed 40ft, natural armour 14+DEX, Reckless. Proficient in: Perception skill, unarmed and great axe. 3d10 racial HD. Gore 2d8 piercing damage reach 5ft. At 13th level gains Charge (MM223) but with a damage bonus of +1d8, this becomes +2d8 at 19th level, Charge only applies to gore attacks. m

Then you can add a separate set of ability score bonuses for a more terrestrial Minotaur (I would suggest another choice, maybe Strength, Constitution, or Wisdom, +1) and a different proficiency set as listed in the UA design panel. In my setting, Minotaurs are the quintessential farming culture, and thus Machines (land) makes sense, along with Artisan's Tools because agriculturalists have to be self-sufficient and make their own goods. |

| #11MarandahirMay 06, 2015 6:59:14 | Yeah, Minotaur has a lot going for it here. Four features, outside of ability bumps and proficiencies. That's more than enough reason to only have +1, +1, rather than +2, +1 (Choice) or +1, +2 (Choice). Besides, they're putting Strength in the list of choices, so you still can get that coveted +2, just without getting any separate bump. |
| #12jaappletonMay 06, 2015 7:32:57 | Plus always having a d10 weapon, and a bonus action attack. Seems great for Totem Barbarians. |
| #13melloredMay 06, 2015 7:35:41 | A grappler is the best use i've seen for a minotaur.
You can hold someone, have a shield, and still have a weapon. Or hold 2 people and still have a weapon. |
