#1 PhyrexianKitsune Dec 17, 2014 9:13:40	I am wondering, if I multiclasses as a Cleric 4/Sorcerer 16, I would have 9th level spell slots, does this mean that when I go to prepare my cleric spells for the day, that despite having the # of prepares spells per-day of a level 4 cleric I could prepare any spells off the cleric list in those slots? I ask because unlike sorceres, bards and other classes with "spells known" clerics automatically can prepare any spells off their list that they have the slots to cast and as a multiclass cleric/sorc I would have 9th level slots. So, could I do this kind of thing as a cleric/sorcerer multiclass? Likewise, if I multiclassed wizard, could I cast 9th level wizard spells with only 1-4 levels in wizard so long as I had 9th level slots and added those 9th level spells to my spellbook via finding them on scrolls or in another spellbook as appose to taking them via leveling(which I could not do by multiclass rules.)? Any clarification on this would be great.
#2 AaronOfBarbaria Dec 17, 2014 9:35:49	You can prepare any spell that a 4th level cleric with no other levels or classes could prepare.   It is not possible to cast a 9th level spell unless you have 17 or more levels in the class from which the spell comes, no matter whether you have 9th level spell slots or not.
