#1 jaappleton Sep 16, 2015 3:35:47	How do the spell slots work in this case? I know if my character level is 5, but I'm Ranger 3 / Cleric 2, I know I can use third level spells. But does spell slot progression work at normally stated in the table in the multiclassing section of the PHB?
#2 ZickZak Sep 16, 2015 4:07:18	You get spells for each class separately; Cleric Wis+2(lvl) spells of 1st level and for Ranger 3 spells of 1st level. Slots are 4 of 1st level and 2 of 2nd as per the multiclassing table. No spells you have are lvl 2 but you can cast 1st level spells as 2nd level spells.   Note: Only full casters count for full level, your ranger levels count as 1/2 rounded down, meaning in this case you are level 3 on the MC table.
