| #1DrunkenElfRangerAug 15, 2015 6:58:48 | hello everyone
i have a question about a level 8 elf ranger and the amount of attacks it can do with two shortswords so the setup is
two shortswords to start at second level i took two weapon fighting to get my dex mod for the second shortsword
at thrid level i chose Hunter - Horde Breaker, giving me the ability to attack someone else within 5 feet.
so i'll stop here.
does this mean i can attack a creature twice, once with each shortsword, then 'spin off' and attack another one within' 5 feet twice, once with each shortsword? or can i only attack with one sword?
next, at 5th level i was given Extra Attack, which says i can attack twice, instead of once, whenever i take the Attack action.
so, once again, same scenario as before... I attack a creature, once with each shortsword, i 'spin off' to another creature within 5 feet and use my shortswords bam-bam (twice...assuming i can...)...can i then attack again with my Extra Attack? and if so, can i use both shortswords??
any info would be appriciated. |

| #3AhrimonAug 15, 2015 7:50:38 | 4 total attacks are available. 1 normal, 1 Extra Attack, 1 off-hand (bonus action), 1 horde breaker (2nd target) |
