New Character Creation, Help Needed

Ahoy! I might use some help in the creation of a new character; I'll start playing my first D&D game soon, and I'm totally lost with all the stuff I need to calculate etc...

I started rolling the dices to get my STR, DEX, CON, INT, WIS and CHA. I think I got some pretty decent scores (14,10,18,12,14,11).
I want my character to be a Changeling Psion (Telepathy), so I was going to set the stats like this: 18 INT, 14 WIS, 14 CHA, 12 CON, 11 DEX, 10 STR.
I couldn't find any modifier for Changelings, so I'm assuming it doesn't have any (like humans), is that right?

Anyone willing to help me with the next steps? Also, what's the best "Character sheet"? I've seen there are many around, some have more stuff than the others..
