| #2TildenThorneSep 13, 2014 12:53:45 | Long sword... 1d8 one-handed, 1d10 two-handed (versatile). There are no 1d10 one-handers in 5e, so that is as close as it gets or even should get (IMHO). |

| #4DM_HEEGZSep 13, 2014 13:35:34 | The longsword in 5e is a bastard sword. You can use it 1 handed or 2 handed, making the old bastard sword redundant. Using it 2 handed is 1d10, and using it 1 handed is 1d8. |
