No love for the Bastard??

Hey all, 

could someone help me create stats for the bastard (hand-and-a-half) sword?

 

or point me to it?

Long sword... 1d8 one-handed, 1d10 two-handed (versatile). There are no 1d10 one-handers in 5e, so that is as close as it gets or even should get (IMHO).

Ok. But is a longs word the same thing as a bastard sword? Or is it how many hands you wield with (e.g. Holding a one handed weapon 2-handed bumps up the damage die)?

The longsword in 5e is a bastard sword. You can use it 1 handed or 2 handed, making the old bastard sword redundant. Using it 2 handed is 1d10, and using it 1 handed is 1d8.
