My DM let me play wizard with access to sorcerer metamagic (and same number of sorcery points as sorcerer). I'm planing to be evocation wizard and variant human, for feat i'm thinking about war caster and later polearm master (i know interaction of these two is debatable but in our group we consider them compatible because errata didn't change their interaction). For metamagic choice I'm thinking twin and quicken.

What would you suggest for feat and school choice, and what for metamagic choice?
What would be your other choices for my character, including spells?
How different optimisation wise do you think this homebrew combination would be from pure wizard?
P.S. We use spell points not slots.
P.P.S. Our campaign is ment to be high powered and everybody in party is in one way or another stronger than usual.

EDIT: Rest of party are cleric fighter and rogue.

Well that's not gamebreaking in the slightest....

i suppose i'd suggest Twinned & Quicken > Heightened & Empowered > Subtle/ Careful > Distant / Extended

that's how i'd personally rank the metamagics.

as for feat... yea Warcaster is nice, or the classic Resilient (Con), are you going some weird gish fighter/wiz, is that why you want polearm master, or is there some insane combo i'm not aware of?
