Pact Weapon / Shillelagh

If this has been answered, my apologies... I cannot seem to search these forums. My question is if you can cast the cantrip Shillelagh on a staff Pact Weapon? In the fluff it talks about vines, metal and the like so "wood of a club or quarterstaff" sounds easy to fill...

I believe you should be able to use a club or quaterstaff created by Pact Weapon as material component to cast shillelagh.

Thank you for the response Plaguescarred... That is what I concluded as well, just wanted a second opinion.
