Pathfinder Barbarian Ghengis Khan Question

Not sure if this is even the right place to post this. I am still kinda new to the whole tabletop dice rolling RPG. I have played a few sessions of 4e and 5e of D&D, but that's been it. I will be joining a level 13 Pathfinder campign in a few weeks and the DM wanted me to start out at 13th level with a fighter type: such as Barbarian, Archer, Fighter, Paladin and so on.

I was looking into the Barbarian archtypes and loved the idea of Fury Mount. Basically, in short, it's the Pathfinder version of Ghengis Khan and his Mongol horde. I have always been fascinated by the Mongols fought their battles, on lighting fast horses with powerful recurve bows and arrows. I'd love to build a Barbarian that does much the same, except with some modifacations,

What would be some good powers, rages, and all the like that I could toss in to build this, and what would be some other stuff I could use that would make me useful outside of combat too? Is there also a list of mounts that someone can link me to? I loved to have him or her ride in on a bull or tiger or battle steed. Maybe even a dragon. LOL.

Thanks in advance guys.

PS - What should I out as his/her strongest to lowest stats?

well pathfinder is basically 3.5 with even more stuff, and while I don't know that stuff I can give the basics a go.

Str

Dex

Con

are all good things to have for a mounted fighter type

int

not so much

wis

good for noticing stuff and being tribal and wise

cha

good for a leader

skills: whatever ride animal got turned into, intimidate/persuade/diplomacy for leading and scaring, handle animal for training I think (unless ride/handle are the same in path finder) athletics/jump/climb/swim good for a strong front liner at times, acrobatics is good for getting off a mount quickly or saving yourself from a bad fall.

as far as rages couldn't tell you, we only get the one in this system, though it can have different effects. If I were to make this character in 5e, it would be a half-orc or variant human with shield master and mounted combat as feats. starting 16 str, 14 dex, 14 con, 8 int, 10 wis, 10 cha with shield master at first level when you can't afford a mount or barding anyway. level 4 mounted, level 8 dex, level 12 dex, level 16 dex, level 19 con

final at 20 = 20 str, 20 dex, 20 con, 8 int, 10 wis, 10 cha

skills: handle animal, athletics (soldier background) intimidate, history (i think) race option for V.Human should be perception or acrobatics. Sucks that handle animal is wis as default, though riding in combat could easily be a dex or athletics check maybe

Make alot of longbow attacks from horseback as you level. ride in and strike with shield and battle axe or scimitar and just use strength advantage to push since it wont help scimitar. totem wolf might be the best for this. build. eagle would give really good scouting with second totem.
