#1 DungeonsAndTheDynamite Aug 30, 2015 14:50:00	Ok. So im new the the game andt to try it out but where do I start? what do I buy? And what do I need to know about the game? If anybody knows and can help please do!!! Will check un when I can.
#2 Vulf Aug 30, 2015 15:03:16	Do you have a local gaming shop that hosts Dungeons and Dragons sessions on a weekly basis? Sometimes there are notices of people putting groups together. You might want to find if your area has a web forum for local gaming groups too.

#5 Coredump00 Aug 30, 2015 22:04:52	Here is the WotC store locator  Look for stores in your area that have encounters or expeditions.  They are organized play (Adventures League) and if you don't already have a group, this is probably the best/easiest way to get started.   Another option is to look up the game stores in your area, and see if they have regular games being played there... or if they have a bulletin board that people use to find players.

Do any of you know if there is an age límit as to how old have to be go play? Abd what is abou the average age at people you guys play with because i dont want to just show up and be the youngest there.

I imagine you'd have to be at least 13 or so to be there alone (That's just my own personal guess).    D&D, and games like it, are played by people in any age group. There's four people in my group. I'm 27, and the others are 36, 24, and 25 respectively. I've seen other groups where there's a 30 year old man playing with his 10 year old son.    I suggest you start by just watching people play, and reading the rules. You can watch people play online, or at your local game store. If you go online, some of the more 'famous' games are Critical Role and Acquisitions Incorporated (Acq Inc started with 4th Edition and now they're on 5th Edition, they only play once or twice a year). That's how I learned. Started by reading the rules, then watching games so I could see those rules implemented in action. Then I got my friends together and I was Dungeon Master, and introduced them to the rules as we began playing.
