So I was just wondering what peoples prefrence were about offense/defense when it comes to low to mid to high levels. Do you prefer getting all your defesive feats/stats at the start the transitioning into offesive feats/stats, or the opposite? Does it depend on what class you play or do you have your own general guidline about what times to get your offensive/deffensive stat/feat? Or do you go with the flow, meaning as the need arises you go one way or the other?

Was overall wondering when people generally like to transition form one to the other?(I know some of this relys on party make-up, but looking for peoples more genreal answers. If you have diffrent prefrences for diffrent classes I'd like to know those.)

For what class?  Sorc and Warlock are different than a wizard because of the limited number of spells known, so you have to take spells that can do both.  For straight wizard, I focus offense first.  Cleric, I always go defense first (since I have to be the last one to die).

Typically there's very few reasons I won't take a stat boost at level 4 feat.

A few exceptions I will consider typically

Inspiring leader

Polarm master

Sentinel

Crossbow expertise

Heavy armor master
