I am curious, who knows the math behind augmented weapon as it applies to a psion/fighter. Is it better to go 11 levels of fighter for three attacks or 6 levels of fighter and 5 levels of psion for two attacks with a +3 weapon? Lets assume it is a heavy crossbow weilding fighter with Archery fighting style. Im looking at running this on the back of a druid with Mounted Combant  and Crossbow Expert for a D&D style Abrahms tank in the upcoming Underdark module.

It's definitely better to go 11 levels of Fighter and 1 level of Mystic if you want to expand to 12 levels.

Assuming GWF, the +3 is better in isolation as it offsets the -5 of the -5/+10.

I am looking for actual numbers. Mystic comes with a host of other benefits and I want to know just how much gap there is between the two options to determine if it is worthwile.

Im suprised no one else has weighed in. Is it a general distaste for the Mystic? I was thinking that the +3 would be better as it pertains to crossbows because it negates the negative modifier from Sharpshooter. This would be better than a third attack right? I dont have the formulas or the confidence in my ability to figure this out.

It varies depending upon what AC you're facing. Frog was good at calculating that.
