I'm playing a ranger in AL, and was planning on multiclassing ranger 12/ rogue 8. I'm taking rogue for his access to both uncanny dodge and evasion by level 7, and 4d6 sneak attack each turn. What level should I stop leveling ranger and start leveling rogue? Also, does anybody have any suggestions for a fun multiclassed ranger?

I'd go Rogue 1/Ranger 5, then Rogue 2-3. That gives you a permanent free skill while getting you Extra Attack/Assassin Rogue as fast as possible. After that, it gets less clear.

One of the issues I think for Ranger is that a lot of the good elements of the class come about quickly. Is there a reason you want to go to Ranger 12? Rogue gets a lot of good things from levels 9-11, not to mention levels 12-15...
