You can use your action to make a ranged attack against any number of creatures within 10 feet of a point you can see within your weapon’s range. You must have ammunition for each target, as normal, and you make a separate attack roll for each target.
Does, "within 10 feet of a point you can see within your weapons range" mean "within 10 feet to a point you can see"? Just seems oddly worded...
Not sure if this was addressed, but any input would be appreciated. Thanks! |

| #8Sands666Sep 05, 2015 21:12:47 | Thanks everyone, makes more sense now. I think I see why people say the Ranger class is weak in comparison to other classes. My party's Wizard seems like the most powerful, as does the Fighter. When I initially read through Volley, I thought that it was saying that you could basically hit any target in the combat that you could see, as long as it wasn't at point blank range. I like my interpretation better |
