Saurial?

I'm looking to create a Saurial Paladin for a friend who is verbally challenged. I figured that a character who doesn't communicate through words, but his actions would be a lot easier for him. The problem is, I cannot find any Stat Blocks for Saurial's for 5th Edition.

 

Am I missing something?

No.  They are kind of a rare breed.  So i don't expect it any time soon. 

Your just going to have to make your own.

 

What are their features?  (besides not being able to talk?)
