Okay... I just got to Level 4. I have absorb elements, shield, magic missile, silent image, phantasmal force and Maximillian's Earthen Grasp.

That gives me a spell that targets Int against strong people and one that targets Str against smart people... when I get to level 5, I will be getting hypnotic pattern for mass disables and probably haste.

Anyway... I have 2 picks and I would like to pick up some level 2 spells that don't require concentration. Scorching Ray and something else?

Have a look at TreantmonkLvl20's guide. It's good stuff.

Misty Step is a great mobility spell and only takes a bonus action to cast. You can use it to get out of grapples too.

Save or suck spells get a buff with your Portent feature. On a day where you roll low, memorize a spell in this class. If not, skip them for more consistent options. Tasha's Hideous Laughter is pretty darn fun.

Consider Detect Thoughts. After a fight, you can cast it during an interrogation and get the info you want. After level 6, it also gives you back a 1st level spell slot since you're a diviner.

Invisibility requires concentration, but it's still an excellent choice.

I was leaning towards Misty Step or Detect Thoughts. Misty Step is cool and all, but my character generally moves slowly and deliberately rather than getting into risky situations... So far I haven't been in a single situation where I needed to cast it. I have been in a couple situations where Detect Thoughts would have been useful.

Of course, when you need Misty Step, you really really really need it. Detect Thoughts is nice and all... but "need"?

I'm gething mage armor from an item... sorry I didn't mention that. I discount it because I don't need it on my spell list. Pyrotechnics is a definite option. I've been thinking about something without concentration. I generally use Silent Image to cover my own party in darkness or illusionary fire or something else that would keep bad guys away. Pyrotechnics could work with portent... make sure my BSF passes his save. Hmmm... maybe Pyrotechnics and Detect Thoughts.

Blindness/Deafness doesn't require concentration and it's a great spell to use with a bad portent roll. I prefer it over pyrotechnics because it doesn't require a source of fire to be within 10 feet of the targets and the blindness lasts for up to 1 minute instead of just 1 turn. It also scales with higher level spell slots, whereas pyrotechnics does not.
