To me the answer is very clear, but I had an argument with my GM so I would like to have more opinion or if someone got an other reference that could show my GM that spell can crit.
Can spell crit? I know that spell without an attack roll (like Magic Missile, fireball) cannot crit, but those spell that do require an attack roll (ray of frost, Eldritch blast, scorching ray etcc...) if I roll a 20 can they crit?
If I multiclass in fighter champion, can they crit on a 19?
If they crit I double the dice?
Spell with multiple attack roll (like Scorching ray you roll every single ray individually) if you crit with one you only crit whit that single ray? if you crit on 2 ray, you crit with those 2 ray.
If an half orc (or a Barbarian with brutal critical) crit with a melee spell, can we consider the spell as a weapon and add the extra damage dice from Savage attack/brutal Critical? |
