Spell selection for Sorcerer/Bard

I am planning to start 3 levels of Valor Bard for armor & shield.  Then finish with Sorcerer 17. Trying to figure best spells. What I thought was:

 

Bard cantrips

 

1. Minor Illusions

2. Vicious Mockery

 

Bard spells (6 spells)

1st level. Cure Wounds, Dissonate

                 Whispers

2nd level. Invisibility, See Invisibility,

                   Shatter, Silence

 

Sorcerer spells

1st.    Magic Missile

2nd.   Hold Person

3rd.    Blink, Counterspell, Dispel Magic

             Fireball, Haste

4th.     Blight

5th.     Hold Monster

6th.    Chain Lightning, Disintegrate,

             Globe Invulnerability, Sunbeam

7th.    Plane Shift, Reverse Gravity

8th.     

9th.    Wish

 

I know I have 16 wizard spells. Having hard time deciding which to remove. Suggestions
