| #2AshrymSep 24, 2014 2:40:56 | Yes. Divine favor, hunter's mark, hex, and crusader's mantle come to mind right away. Valor bards' combat inspiration also adds to damage. Did you have something specific in mind? |

| #41eejitSep 24, 2014 4:10:38 | To buff the damage roll of a fighter party member your caster could look at Elemental Weapon and Magic Weapon. Paladins get both, Wizard and War Clerics get only the latter, Bard can steal either.
Many other buffs such as Hex will work only for the caster, so your fighter would need to find a way to cast them (e.g. multiclassing, magic initiate feat). |

Crusader's mantle buffs everyone in range but the only way to sneak that in early is with a war cleric, or lore bard at 6th level. The valor bard can't do anything with inspiration other than buff others so that's still happening regardless on a valor bard. Bless, faerie fire, and sleep aren't direct damage increases but they increase damage. Blindness and hold person, similarly. Enlarge and magic weapon are available early. Haste isn't a direct damage boost either but it's one of the better choices to buff someone else because the extra attack is worth more than most buffs. A lot of damage buffs were cut back because of the way they stacked with multiple attacks. |
