hi all, like the title says.. Is this any good? What would you choose to create this character?
Druids are not proficent in swords.
Moon druids can fight in melee, as well as sneak (panther).

Druid has a cantrip that lets him sorta put wooden weapon into life, gaining incresed damage, and using his wisdom instead of strenght for to-hit+dmg.
How ever you will not ever be good in a melee fight as combat classes, you will essentialy be a caster who can dish out some in melee.
Later on if you use club, which is a light weapon, you can cast fiery weapon in your off hand, and use two weapon fighting, fire weapon also uses your wisdom to determine+to hit, and its in shape of scimitar which is also a light weapon, but doesent care about +dmg, because its fixed damage that scales up depending on spell slot used
If you wont to use sword, you will need to alocate your ability points into strenght and basically get the same thing as above while gimping yourself

I mean, it's not like there are other spells or rules elements that actually clearly state "Attack action," to look at in order to see that anything not actually labeled as "Attack action" isn't an attack action.
...or dozens of other attack rolls called for by game elements, spells especially, that aren't part of an Attack action.

We have this all-knowledgable DM who of course knows better than anyone else how the game works.... or a player who does not want to give up on somthing really good, he thinks he found....
