Teleportating death

I want to create a new character, based on this concept

2 level of warlock for the incantation: Devil sight (see trought darkness magical and non magical), Pact weapon is pretty interesting too, to summon the weapon from smoke.

Then I can cast darkness anywhere and still see normally trought it, so everyone is blind except me.

then 6 level of monk (shadow) to teleport from shadow to attack somene, then teleport on the other side of the battlefield so no one know where I am so no one can attack me

Then I was thinking of maybe rogue for sneak attack, maybe some fighter champion for extra crit.

I'm not sure how good this would be the the visual of the build sound very cool:

a character casting darkness, effectively blinding everyone, (and generating it's own shadow area if needed) to then teleport around and one shotting (crit sneak) most creature all over the battle field. somethign that could maybe look kinda of like nightcrawler I guess, but no one never see him (since there is a magical darkness)

I was thinking of drow to get an extra darkness cast, but the drow improved darkvision is redundant with devil sight, Wood elf use dex and Wis wish is great for the monk, rogue, fighter cna live with it, and a finess warlock of the blade can be very good too.

Can you use minor illusion to create an illusion that would block the light source and create a shadow region (dim light) I could teleport where I want?

The teleport from monk(shadow) is used as a bonus action. So would only be able to teleport once per round. My monk is taking mobile so I can teleport next to an enemy hit him then use my move to get out of range. Won't be doing as much damage as staying there but I will be out of their range for retaliation. Mixed with stunning fist. If they are stunned I'll stick around and flurry into them next turn. I like the darkness combo but I'm not sure how much I will use it instead of hex. If I could coax another party member to cast darkness on me I would be golden. As for drow. I think they would be perfect for this build. They get an extra cast of darkvision. Their improved darkvision doesn't say it allows them to see into magical darkeness just up to 120' so devil sight is still a huge beni for them to be able to see into their own darkness. I'm not sure about the minor illusion blocking out light. Good question though.

Think I'm gonna go

6 levels of monk(way of shadow)- stunning fist, flurry, teleport, 1 feat

3 levels of warlock(GOO Pact of Tome) - hex and darkness, invocation (devil sight), extra cantrips and ritual spells.

5 levels of rogue(assassin) -sneak attack, cunning action, 1 feat and uncanny dodge

6 levels of fighter(battle-master)-fighting style (dueling) action surge, 2 feats, maneuvers( feinting attack, parry, trip attack)

This build I'm missing out on 1 feat but I think the uncanny dodge makes up for it.

anyone got more comment?

and how does Pact of the blade work with magical item?

let's say I make my build rogue (assassin)10/warlock(GOO/pact of the blade)4/monk(shadow)6. I want to use shorsword (finess monk weapon) I found a longsword+1, can I make this longsword+1 my pact weapon, and summon it as a shorsword+1? If Imake it into a dagger? I can throw it? then use my action to summon it back in my hand next turn?

for the shadow step abilities of the monk? can I get a little mirror, pass it under the door, see the shadowy zone and teleport to that zone?
