We will be starting Rise of the Dragon Queen soon.
I've decided to play a mountain dwarf tempest cleric. In the starter set I played a wizards and loved throwing fireballs and shatters without having to worry about hitting my allies. Is there a way to get a similar mechanic like that I can get somehow on the tempest cleric ? So I don't hit my allies with my area spells ?
I suspect not, but you never know
Thanks,

Stuff like that. And if an ally does get caught in the fray, you can heal him. Always remember, a dead enemy can't hurt anybody. As long as your allies are standing, they're cool. Besides, you're a Tempest Cleric. If they ride a little lightning, try shouldn't be so shocked. :D |

Alert feat, and Dex helps you not blast allies. |

agreed on riding the lightning, it fits well with the character background anyways ;) |
