Trying to make a Sasori style character

Hello I'm trying to create a Sasori style character from Naruto Shippuden. I was going for the puppet controlling and justsu using but I wasn't sure how to take my character there. Any thoughts or builds on how to make a really OP Sasori build?

I'd recommend trying a Necromancer Wizard whose control of his zombie minions is a little more direct than just saying "Get up and beat up those other dudes."

I thought about that. I also thought about doing an artificer type of build that creates his puppets.

I really liked the shaman in 4e for this.

But, currently i agree that reflavoring a necromancer is currently your best bet.

 

Hopefully in a splat book.
