| #1FelwredNewAug 26, 2015 15:14:12 | I saw in one of the guides that a Barbarian can't do two weapon fighting while raging (I was thinking with the dual weapon feat and a dip of 1 level of fighter). I don't see anything in the rage description that seems to preclude that. Please advise.

| #2LeugrenAug 26, 2015 15:31:09 | There is nothing in the rules to prevent a Barbarian from dual wielding. Dual wielding competes with certain abilities which require a bonus action. You will need a bonus action to enter a rage, for instance, and the Berserker Frenzy ability would also compete with your ability to make a second attack with your offhand weapon. As long as you're aware of these tradeoffs, you should be just fine. Also note that your Rage damage bonus only applies to melee weapon attacks using Strength, and that the Reckless ability likewise only applies to melee weapon attacks using Strength. |
