#1 Hagaurd Aug 27, 2014 8:50:31	Can a Warlock/sorcerer convert their spells into spell points?  Warlocks regain their spells after a short rest, so a 3rd level warlock could get 6 sorcerer points back per short rest (2 second level spells)  How does that all work?
#2 Undrhil Aug 27, 2014 9:13:14	Well, first, they would only get 4 points if that was the case, because you convert spell slots into sorcery points based on the slot's level.  So, 2 points for a level 2 slot.   Yeah, that tripped me up, too.   I would be hesitant to say one way or the other on whether a Warlock/Sorcerer can convert their Warlock spell slots, but I'm inclined to say No, since they are specifically Warlock spell slots from the Pact Magic feature.
#3 Mephi1234 Aug 27, 2014 9:36:09	To be honest?     There is no answer.    The warlock is (deliberately?)  vague on these details when it comes to multiclassing.    Are Invocations run by class or character level?     Can Pact Magic spell slots be used with Sorcery Points?       At the moment, the only authority with an answer is your GM.    We're going to have to wait for the official errata to come out to see about the warlock.   And that's assuming they do - I've heard hints that the warlock was deliberately left up to question in order to let the individual GMs tweak as befits their individual tables.      EDIT - Unconfirmed rumors, mind you, so don't quote me on it.

It's not any different then a wizard's slots who can regain his durring a short rest.  Warlocks simply have a different spell slot table.         However, mystic arcanum, drow, monks, and magic initiate are not "spell slot", it's a 1/day (or per ki use) use this specific spell.
#6 bwar Aug 27, 2014 10:09:34	Personally I would say yes because in Font of Magic it says "As a bonus action on your turn, you can expend one spell slot and gain a number of sorcery points equal to the slot's level"  It says nothing about only expending Sorcerer spell slots and the game allows for multiclassing.  You still have to use your bonus actions for the conversion so there is a drawback and warlock gets fewer spell slots (even if the regen).  Also you have a limit for maximum number of SP based on your Sorcerer level so lots of limitations for exploiting the warlock spell slot regen.
