Do you consider these skills and spells are ok for a level 1 wizard?

If your party has a cleric with Fog Cloud, consider substituting with Detect Magic, Identify or Charm Person.  Grease could fill the 'enabler' roll nicely too.

Do you consider grease to be a good spell? I've read the description, and I'm still unsure whether is good or not

This guy says it's bad almost http://community.wizards.com/comment/51490256#comment-51490256

Oh, I see. So proficiency is less bonus than in PF but the impact is a bit larger. Anyway, I went with a classic Sage Wizard know it all. I wanted to do a sort of professor that worked in nobles houses and used that position to gather info to sell to the criminal world to commit theft. But I didn't like the charlatan background, and criminal seemed too far fetched, and I'm playing with a new DM, so better go straight by the rule.

I was a little worried about my low INT, but considering what you're saying, it seems 5e lowers all rolls overal, which is fun. I hated so many bonus on PF, or even having so many buffs.

I'm not sure about magic, never played a Wizard, not even in PF, but concentration seems a great idea to avoid buff stacking. I'm really hoping things are more balanced.

I took a PF approach on Character creation, but it seems it's no longer that necessary and mostly, Feats are even optional and much more limited.

Thanks! Your guide is awesome! I'm not really playing the most optimized build, but it's my first time as a Wizard, ever!

Let's hope I cast my spells decently! I might take Comprehend Laguages, seems a really useful spell to have, even more for my Sage Wizard. I'm kinda worried about being too squishy, but I was told I can move-cast-move, so I only need to find cover to avoid many enemies, at least ranged.
