This guy says it's bad almost http://community.wizards.com/comment/51490256#comment-51490256 |

| #7EothainJul 15, 2015 17:02:45 | Oh, I see. So proficiency is less bonus than in PF but the impact is a bit larger. Anyway, I went with a classic Sage Wizard know it all. I wanted to do a sort of professor that worked in nobles houses and used that position to gather info to sell to the criminal world to commit theft. But I didn't like the charlatan background, and criminal seemed too far fetched, and I'm playing with a new DM, so better go straight by the rule.
I was a little worried about my low INT, but considering what you're saying, it seems 5e lowers all rolls overal, which is fun. I hated so many bonus on PF, or even having so many buffs.
I'm not sure about magic, never played a Wizard, not even in PF, but concentration seems a great idea to avoid buff stacking. I'm really hoping things are more balanced.
I took a PF approach on Character creation, but it seems it's no longer that necessary and mostly, Feats are even optional and much more limited. |

Let's hope I cast my spells decently! I might take Comprehend Laguages, seems a really useful spell to have, even more for my Sage Wizard. I'm kinda worried about being too squishy, but I was told I can move-cast-move, so I only need to find cover to avoid many enemies, at least ranged. |
