Hello all.....

Starting back up after 10+ years.....running some first-timers through Greyhawk and the Temple of Elemental Evil.....I have all of the 1st Edition rule books but can't seem to locate any rules, guidelines, etc. regarding multiple attacks per round for player characters....can anyone point me in the right direction?

Regards,

IIRC it's the chart in the equipment section of the PHB above the weapons table. It lists each class, their weapon proficiencies per level and their attacks per level.

I'm working from memory only here (no books around) so forgive me if I'm wrong.

The chart is listed in the figter section of the PH and UA. In 1E only fighter types get multiple melee attacks per round. Attacks per round with missile weapons are based solely on the weapon unless you are using the UA specialization rules.

PHB p. 25. Bottom of the 1st column.

It took me a while to find it the last time I was looking for it. I didn't expect to find it after the fighter subclasses.
