Hello everyone,

Looking for a norse flavor to my next module. Does anyone have any info on a 1st or 2nd Edition AD&D module that might fit the bill? I played the Aesirhamar adventure in one of the old Dragon Magazine issues and would love something along those lines...

King of the Giantdowns is an AD&D 2e Birthright module set in a somewhat norse-like land, though it is /not/ linked with the Vikings setting book and it does not refer to the norse pantheon or mythology (since it uses the Cerilian pantheon).

There's an interesting reference in the 1e DMG (p. 112):

In my own Greyhawk Campaign there have been 9 demigods, 3 demon lords, and a handful of Norse and other gods involved in the course of many years of play.

Seems there are some Norse gods with an interest in Greyhawk...

I know its basic D&D, but The Northern Reaches Gazetteer is good, and has some pages about adventures.

as Extempus notes the 1edADnD Greyhawk stuff is easily adapted.

particularly the G series. leading into the D series. and finishing with Q.

Giants, drow/dark elves, and the exiled faerie goddess Lolth.
